Great update! Here are some suggestions: - It would be great if there were ambient sounds, for example, sound effects like walking on grass, walking on snow, or breaking rocks and opening doors. I know it would be hard to do them all, but if you add them little by little in each update, it would be a great work! - Animations like mining, fishing, etc. for each character would be very useful! As I said, these can be added gradually. - More characters would be great. This aset pack is the best pack I've seen on this platform! I wish you continued success, good work!

Thanks, I'll take note! For animations we're considering creating a new sprite sheet format with more animation and sprites that are less constrained in terms of size, but it will probably be a lot of work so the idea will be to have a few characters with this format and gradually add more.

I love it! I wish I could do this style of art. Mine looks like a 12 year old has drawn it >:(

With practice you'll improve!

Don't hesitate to take inspiration from the sprites in the pack or other sprites you like, it's a good way to learn.

Regarding your example, the color palette could be improved quite easily, and you could reduce the details a little in certain areas, simplicity avoids getting lost, and often gives good results with less effort.

Thanks! I will take your advice on board with my later game https://moddo.itch.io/knight-game

Absolutely love these, definitely really cool assets! Inspires me on my journey to learn pixel art for my own uses. Any tips for a newbie?

Thanks! Some tips for pixel art:

  • Aseprite is great for pixel art and animation
  • I use a graphics tablet to draw (and a mouse for certain actions)
  • https://www.spriters-resource.com/ is a great resource for analyzing sprites and learning from the best

There are probably many points that could be added to this list, but the most important thing in the end is to practice regularly, take part in projects that you enjoy and push ourselves to try new things, it's a good path to follow I think!

Let me know if you have any questions about specific points.
